Brooklyn Bridge
Description: A between-the-cables look at the top of the Manhattan side tower of the Brooklyn Bridge in NY, NY. The Brooklyn Bridge, designed by John A. Roebling, opened for use on May 24, 1883. John A. Roebling died during its construction and was succeeded as Chief Engineer by his son, Washington Irving. The bridge is instantly recognizable due to its distinctive steel cable lattice.
